The ColdMate

The ColdMate universal marine refrigeration thermostat is the basic model in the SmartTstat series. It is specifically designed to compete with mechanical thermostats in the same price range, while being a sensible upgrade.

The ColdMate is simple to install in either front opening refrigerators or top loading iceboxes and is designed for the "Do it yourself" boater. The unit can be mounted anywhere 12 or 24 volts are available and only the temperature probe needs to be installed inside the refrigerated space.
